March and April 2020 Wrap Up

Wow it’s been a while since I last posted. I didn’t plan to stop writing reviews. It just seemed to happen. I had been posting pretty regularly even going so far as to schedule posts in advance but since everything with COVID-19 all that planning seemed to go down hill.

Social distancing was fun for a little bit but now it’s not and I hope things can go back to the way they were soon. In the past two and half months I haven’t read as many books as I would like but the books I did read I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m currently one book behind in my reading goal for the year but I don’t think it will be that hard to get back on track.

Now onto the 11 books I read between March and April! The majority of those 11 I read in March, 9 of them to be exact. The other 2 I read in April.

Bone Crier's Moon (Bone Grace, #1)

Bone Crier’s Moon by Kathryn Purdie: ★★★

I enjoyed this book not as much as I had hoped I would but it was still decent. I do think that I’m going to read the sequel when it comes out. I have a full review right over here if you want to check it out!

The Raven and the Dove (The Raven and the Dove, #1)

The Raven and The Dove by Kaitlyn Davis: ★★★

This was another book that I had higher hopes for. It was a good read but nothing mind blowing. I have my full review up here.

March 2019 Wrap Up

I have consistently been reading more and more books each month which is great! I actually might even complete my reading goal this yeah which is something I haven’t accomplished at all these past couple of years. I think the reason I was able to read so much this month was because of the fact that I had spring break this month which gave me a whole week to read.

I have not posted reviews for any of these books yet, even though I’ve been meaning to write them for what seems likes ages now. Hopefully I’ll have one review up later today and the rest of them posted sometimes in the next week.

A Quiet Kind of Thunder

A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard: ★★★

This book was such a cute and light read. It was something that made me happy and smiley while I was reading it.
